ABOUT US

Empty Bowls started as a grassroots effort in 1990 as a way to raise awareness and money to fight to end hunger. Now Empty Bowls soup samplers happen across the world including the bi-annual fundraiser in Oshkosh each fall. In order for the event to be successful it requires efforts from volunteers, sponsors, bowl donors and also food donors.
Those who attend are able to select from handcrafted bowls, sample delicious soups and breads from 20 local restaurants while listening to live music. Proceeds from your donation will benefit food pantries and meal programs in the Oshkosh Community. The bowls are to be taken home as a reminder that someone's bowl is always empty.
